Kirk ran a fat hopper along a log on the Upper Manistee River and was rewarded with this big boy. It was a slow day overall, but this guy made up for it and then some.

A Pere Marquette River brown trout caught on a mad pup streamer using bamboo rod built for ripping big (and I do mean BIG) streamers.

This Pere Marquette rainbow had escaped a blue heron before he took a crippled emerger.

This was an interesting fish. It seemed blind and was missing half of it's gill.
